Immunization Program Training is a blended educational and assessment activity designed to enhance healthcare professionals’ competence in vaccine administration, cold chain management, screening, documentation, and anaphylaxis management through interactive lectures, simulation exercises, hands-on skills stations, case-based learning, and structured reflective debriefing.

1. Apply key cold chain principles to ensure safe vaccine storage and transport throughout immunization practice.
2. Interpret legal and professional requirements to support safe, ethical, and compliant immunization practice.
3. Demonstrate safe vaccine preparation and administration techniques using appropriate infection prevention and patient safety measures.
4. Complete and interpret the vaccine screening checklist accurately to identify contraindications and support appropriate vaccine administration decisions
5. Recognize signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis and implement the appropriate emergency response according to established protocols.
6. Demonstrate the correct use of an epinephrine autoinjector during a simulated emergency scenario.
7. Use the electronic vaccine order set accurately to support documentation, ordering, and administration processes.

Sidra Medicine has met the accreditation standards and requirements and is accredited as a provider of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for healthcare practitioners by the Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP), State of Qatar.

In support of improving patient care, Sidra Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
