The Genomics Quality Assessment Masterclass provides hands-on training in quality assurance, accreditation standards, and external quality assessment (EQA) for genomic testing, equipping professionals with the tools to deliver accurate and reliable results in clinical and research settings.

1. • Identify the key components of an accredited genomic diagnostics workflow by the end of the training session.
2. • Apply ACMG/AMP variant interpretation guidelines consistently in evaluating case studies of germline and somatic variants.
3. • Distinguish between different types of External Quality Assessment (EQA) programs and their implementation timelines within 3 months post-training.
4. • Assess laboratory reports for quality assurance using real-time EQA exercises and score them according to standardized criteria.
5. • Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for reporting genomic test results (e.g., NIPT, arrays, PGT) within 30 days in their own laboratories.
6. • Develop a plan for internal competency assessment that meets accreditation standards within 4 weeks of the masterclass.
7. • Evaluate common EQA errors from published reports and describe corrective actions during breakout exercises.
8. • Demonstrate the ability to review and annotate a genomic test report as an EQA assessor during the practical simulation module.
