Join us for an engaging and informative Health Literacy Workshop designed to equip healthcare providers with the skills and strategies to effectively communicate with patients. This workshop aims to bridge the gap between complex medical information and patient understanding, ensuring better health outcomes and improved patient satisfaction.

1. Define health literacy and describe its impact on patient care, citing at least two specific examples.
2. Identify at least three common barriers to learning and apply two evidence-based strategies to overcome them in patient interactions.
3. Demonstrate the ability to adapt verbal and written communication methods to meet the needs of diverse patient populations, using at least one real-world scenario.
4. Identiy three best practices for engaging patients and families in their care and explain how these practices improve health outcomes.
5. Demonstrate the Teach-Back process and when it should be used

Sidra Medicine has met the accreditation standards and requirements and is accredited as a provider of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for healthcare practitioners by the Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP), State of Qatar.

In support of improving patient care, Sidra Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
