This symposium is designed to provide an updated evidence-based knowledge and guidance for asthma management in order to impower physicians knowledge related to this common disease, which will be reflected in enhancing patient care and disease control.

1. Increase awareness: Educate participants about asthma, including its symptoms, causes, and triggers, to enhance overall understanding.
2. Provide practical knowledge on asthma management strategies, including medication usage, inhaler techniques, and the importance of adherence to treatment plans to promote effective management.
3. Correct common misunderstandings about asthma with precise information and expert advice.
4. Encourage individuals with asthma to take an active role in managing their condition by developing personalized action plans and understanding the impact of lifestyle factors such as nutrition, physical activity, and environmental control measures to minimize triggers and manage the condition effectively.

Sidra Medicine has met the accreditation standards and requirements and is accredited as a provider of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for healthcare practitioners by the Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP), State of Qatar.

In support of improving patient care, Sidra Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
