This course covers the principles, indications, and practical application of non-invasive ventilation techniques, including CPAP&BiPAP, in chronic pediatric respiratory conditions. Participants will gain the skills needed to initiate, monitor, and manage NIV safely and effectively, with strong focus on patient comfort, interface selection, and troubleshooting common challenges in pediatric settings.

The symposium includes various sessions and topics such as: Leadership Beyond the Title, Technical vs Non-Technical Skills, Cultural Awareness, Professional Development and CNOR Certification, Surgical Safety Checklist, and From Burnout to Brilliance. The symposium also includes skills stations for validating and demonstrating intraoperative nursing skills, and Q&A panel discussions.

This symposium is designed to provide an updated evidence-based knowledge and guidance for asthma management in order to impower physicians knowledge related to this common disease, which will be reflected in enhancing patient care and disease control.

Since 2016 Sidra Gastroenterology team allocates one day each year for a symposium to discuss pediatric gastrointestinal problems in Qatar. This activity is well attended by healthcare professionals.
