AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (3.75 hours), CNE Nursing Credits (6.00 hours), DHP Credits - Category 1 (3.75 hours), DHP Credits - Category 3 (2.25 hours), DHP Credits - Mixed Category 1 and 3 (6.00 hours), Non-Physician Participation Credit (6.00 hours)

A workshop that will provide current and evidence-based practices on the care and management of pediatric patients with a tracheostomy tube. Participants will have the opportunity to demonstrate and apply the skills acquired during the session.

1. 1. To discuss the continuum of care from initial tracheostomy tube insertion through to the discharge process
2. 2. To demonstrate tracheostomy tube routine care and emergency management of blockage, bleeding and accidental decannulation
3. 3. To initiate a multidisciplinary educational plan for patients and their families in preparation for transitioning to home and community
