These FACE-TO-FACE rounds are held twice a month, in the form of didactic 1-hour lectures on topics related to electroencephalography, nerve conduction studies, electromyography and intra-operative monitoring.


Objectives
  1. Highlight the importance of skin care in EEG procedures for patient comfort and diagnostic accuracy.
  2. To identify factors contributing the skin irritation and to implement methods to reduce the prevalence.
  3. To assess the frequency and occurrence of skin irritation during prolonged EEG monitoring.
